Delete Your Account

How to permanently delete your SickleCare account and data

Option 1: Delete Directly in the App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly inside the SickleCare app:

  1. Open the SickleCare app
  2. Tap the Profile tab (bottom navigation)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us at:
support@sicklecellhealth.com

Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 days.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly deleted:

  • Your account credentials (email address, user ID)
  • All medication entries and reminders
  • All water intake logs
  • All daily check-ins (mood, pain levels, notes)
  • Your profile information (sickle cell type, emergency contact)
  • Your subscription status

Data Retention

No personal or health data is retained after account deletion. All data is permanently removed from our systems and from Supabase (our database provider) immediately upon deletion.

The only exception is anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to any individual user.
